Right On, Leftfield

Thanks to everyone who came out to the downstairs space at Leftfield last night.  The LES was rockin' with some high octane blues last night.  Toes were tapping and hips were shaking, and we're grateful for everyone who brought their toes and their hips out to support live NYC music.

Check out the Upcoming Shows page for where to catch us next!

Trashy Videos

A fan was kind enough to send in some video of our gig at Trash Bar last week.  Enjoy!

And here's our version of the classic, "All Your Love":

Sophisticated Trash

Ah, Trash Bar.  Rumors are you are closing your doors soon, to be replaced by condos.  We are very sad about that because tonight was delightful, and there should be more nights like tonight in the future, but alas.

Thanks to all who came out.  And special thanks to a certain Mr. David Leavitt, who rocked the drums on his very first time out.

Catch the next one at Leftfield (downstairs), not this Friday but next, May 29th!  We turn the amps on at 9pm!

B.B. King

The world lost a giant of the blues yesterday.  As Clapton noted, in a vlog following B.B.'s death, there are very few people anymore who play the kind of raw, unadulterated blues that B.B. lived by.  He's of a sadly dying breed, which makes his death that much more of a loss since there is no one in the wings who can step in to fill that void.  He will be dearly missed.

The kind is dead.  Long live the king.

Together Again And It Feels So Good

THP heads back to Shady Bear Recording studio today to begin work on the forthcoming EP.  It's gonna feel great to sink back into the cushy chairs in the basement studio again and bang out some blues for summer.  Check back for updates!
